About Me

In many places I am known as “the dancer”, and I have often said I was born doing the jitterbug. Dancing is part of me and enmeshed in my whole being. My father loved to dance and my love of dancing came from him. My mother did not dance at all.

On special events; weddings, etc... he would take his very young and only daughter and dance with her around the dance floor. It instilled in me a life long love of music, its rhythm and the subsequent movement to those rhythms which is called dancing.

As I grew in age, I learned other forms of dance: Square Dance, Round Dance, Country Dance, Line Dance, Ballroom, etc... and am now teaching what I have learned.

Currently I have ongoing classes in Round Dancing, Line Dancing and Country Western Couples Dancing.

I have been teaching Line Dancing for about 20 years and Round Dancing for about 7 years now.

For the past several years, I have cued Rounds and taught Lines at several National and State Conventions.

I am a Member of Roundalab^®; which is the International Association for Round Dance Teachers.

I am Licensed through Roundalab^® by the Music Producers Organizations of BMI^® and ASCAP^® to perform copyright music at all of my functions.

I cue Lines for the B'n'B Beginner Dances every week plus I have also currently have 2 Round Dance Classes and 4 Line Dance Classes, which are ongoing.
